(1) Notification in the Nepal Gazette by the Government of Nepal for the health and safety of the public regarding any substance or process other than drugs and food whose standards are determined according to the Medicines Act, 2035 and the Food Act, 2023 The producer or manufacturer, distributor or service provider of such substance or process may specify that the quality determined by the council must be adopted compulsorily with effect from the date specified in the notice. (2) In relation to the substance or process specified in accordance with sub-section (1), the relevant producer or manufacturer, distributor or service provider shall obtain a license or quality certificate in accordance with this Act.
